Global Ownership Portfolio

I invest in businesses I admire, run by people I trust.

Typically, that means a business model that benefits customers, employees and shareholders, in a market large enough to reward long-term ownership.

I'd rather be broadly right about the future than precisely wrong about the next quarter.

Price matters. The best prices often come with near-term controversy or uncertainty. When I'm wrong about a business, I sell.

The portfolio is concentrated, usually around ten holdings, and I treat price volatility as servant, not guide to decision making.

The Global Ownership Portfolio is an actively managed certificate (AMC) issued by UBS Bank AG. It lets friends and like-minded investors invest alongside me. Aside from rainy-day funds, my family's life savings are invested in it.

Investment decisions are mine. I manage the strategy at MRB Fund Partners, a Swiss asset manager supervised by FINMA.
